Working with the
Office for Student Involvement
The Office for Student Involvement (OSI) was one of my greatest experience, as a person and designer. My co-workers were the most creative and kindest people I had the chance to work with. During my stay in the OSI I was the only Graphic Designer in the office, so I was not only responsible for printing the Banners and Posters all the banners but also creating initially for social media.
I had the chance to design our Oficial Office Postcard, as well as work with some celebrities which would come to Oakland University.
It was one of the few jobs where I had the chance to work as a Design Project Management, Creative Designer and during the Print Production. The amount of knowledge, life and professional wise, that I obtain from this work changed my life as a Designer for ever. And I'm really grateful for this two and a half years working with such an amazing group of people.
Digital
& traditional
The Office for Student Involvement also allowed me to create designs that would be advertised in both media: traditional and digital. I became more comfortable creating artworks that could be easily translated to different media while keeping the same color and aesthetic.
Kindness Week
“This is a week dedicated to acts of kindness toward yourself, your community,
and your environment.
Organizations and departments are encouraged to participate in Kindness Week by hosting events centered on kindness. Past events have included projects focused on self-care, philanthropy, environmental preservation, and social awareness. These events have been large-scale (such as full-blown events located in reserved rooms) or small-scale (such as posting kind notes around campus or tabling in the Oakland Center)."
