Working with the
Office for Student Involvement
The Office for Student Involvement (OSI) was one of my greatest experiences, both as a person and as a designer. My co-workers were the most creative and kindest people I had the chance to work with.
During my stay at the OSI, I was the only Graphic Designer in the office, so I was responsible not only for printing the Banners and Posters but also for creating content initially for social media.
I had the chance to design our Official Office Postcard and work with celebrities who would come to Oakland University.
It was one of the few jobs where I had the chance to work as a Design Project Manager, Creative Designer, and in Print Production. The amount of knowledge, life, and professional experience that I gained from this work changed my life as a designer forever. And I'm really grateful for these two and a half years working with such an amazing group of people.
Digital & traditional
The Office for Student Involvement also allowed me to create designs to be advertised in both traditional and digital media. I became more comfortable creating artworks that could be easily translated to different media while keeping the same color and aesthetic.
